The Eagle Lake Augmentation well has been running since 28-Mar-2013.
The pump was serviced on 03-Apr-2013 (see summary below provided by John Baas)
Note: The pump was turned off from April 26 until May 10 following Progressive
Lake Management chemical treatment of the lake. The shutoff was recommended
by Progressive so that the properties on or near the channel where the augmentation
well is located would realize the full benefit of weed treatment.
The pump was brought back on line as of May 10, 2013.
Peerless serviced the pump today (04-03-2013). He also checked the water flow and
set it
to the most efficient and recommended flow rate. (most water
at safe
pumping level). The pump is rated at a max of 1500 GPM. He set
it at
1401GPM. (2,017,440 gal/day. Full open only gains about 100 GPM
more with
the potential of pump failure/damage if the water level at
the lower end of
the pump head gets to low. He does not recommend full open.
He was
unsure of why we would be using so much more electricity and
would check
this out some more. In general he said the more water
being pumped, the
more electrical usage.
The pump is back on and running well.
